Eric Cantor Is An A#1 Prick

If you can’t tell, I don’t like Eric Cantor.  The Majority Leader of the House of Representatives just doesn’t understand how things work.  He is the man that says that if the Senate or the President doesn’t act on a bill that the House passes, it will become law.  And now, he is linking spending cuts to disaster relief.  What an asshole.

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor said Monday that if Congress passes an emergency spending bill to help Missouri’s tornado victims, the extra money will have to be cut from somewhere else.

“If there is support for a supplemental, it would be accompanied by support for having pay-fors to that supplemental,” Mr. Cantor, Virginia Republican, told reporters at the Capitol. The term “pay-fors” is used by lawmakers to signal cuts or tax increases used to pay for new spending.

Let’s get this straight.  Eric Cantor is actually using the tornadoes that ravaged Missouri, took over 100 lives and caused countless Billions in economic damage and he is against the Federal Government helping unless the spending that will go to help relief efforts and getting people to start living normal lives (however normal is defined down there for years to come) is offset by spending cuts in the Federal budget. You tell ‘em, Eric.  This is a state’s rights issue and the Fed shouldn’t become involved in this.  That is the stance that he has taken.

You know, you have to admire a man that has screwed up principles and is willing to take the heat.  Either that, or you just call him stupid.  I have an idea for Majority Leader Dumbass!  Eliminate the subsidies for the Top 5 Oil companies in the United States and you can use the $2 Billion a year in helping Americans that have lost everything via mother nature. Maybe, just maybe the GOP should get to the bottom of why we are having more extreme weather in the United States and around the world.  That way they could learn that besides their idiot leader’s stupid call for cutting the budget on the backs of victims of natural disasters, they and their ridiculing of Climate Change could also become another embarrassment for them.
